Too tired to blog in detail

It was a weird day on Saturday - bright blue sky and a mixture of puffy white and grey clouds. Kind of matched my mood...

Mary's Movie Quote #1

If my sisters do not get this one - I will be very dissappointed.

"I love ya more than my luggage."

I have got to stop working so late on Friday nights!

Missing my entire family and friends in US

So I am coming back to Texas for Easter. I am very excited to not only see Richard and the girls, but also to see all of my sisters and brothers, in-laws and nieces and nephews. I am also looking forward to seeing as many of our close friends as possible.

As you can tell this week, I am on a photo kick and I have realized that all of my photos of my extended family and friends in the US are in our computer in Texas. If you have any of us together - please send me some!

There's a party going on upstairs

I am such an adult - but come on - it's 11:30 PM on a Tuesday!

Me and Frances

I do not have many, but one of my regrets is that I have almost no pictures of myself with Wally - someone so important to me. I was really upset when I realized this. I am resolved that I will not make that mistake again. Here are a few pictures of me and Frances from the past week.

Just kidding - I just thought this one was really funny.

Here are the real ones that I just love -

This one is in the magical park I described a few weeks ago. Looks like God is shining down on us just then - as I am sure he was.

Memories

Richard, the girls and Frances left for Texas this morning. It was a sad day and the weather was cloudy and rainy for the first time since they got here.

We did have a wonderful time while they were here though and we certainly made the most of it as we romped through London and even took a day trip to Belgium. Here are a few more pictures to enjoy.

Enjoying every minute of it...

As you probably know, my family has been here for the week. I am enjoying every minute of it while I can. Richard has been keeping a daily update going on his blog, so I have not bothered to update anything here. All I can say is that I love having Richard and the girls here and I cannot wait for them all to be here full-time! Here are a few of my favorite pics from the week so far:

Aberdeen Day Trip

I took a quick business trip to Aberdeen today. Out the door before 6 AM and home after 10:30 PM - but it was so worth it! First of all, I met wonderful people and got a great deal accomplished. I also had the wonderful experience of a day in Aberdeen, a city of granite.

The sun was shining in a Simpson's blue sky and I think I saw every color of granite in the houses and buildings - all of them are made from granite - I am not kidding or exaggerating. The flowers were starting to bloom in the parks too and it was just lovely!

Jubilee Line Suspended

Friday morning I took the train from Surbiton to Waterloo, just as always. At Waterloo, I usually take the Jubilee tube line to the station in Mayfair. However, the Jubilee Line was suspended and the tube station was backed up as crowds of people just stood there - waiting.

I thought I would be smart and get breakfast while I waited. Not really that smart, because 15 minutes later, the crowd was twice the size and the original crowd had not moved at all.

I am not one to wait around when I could be doing something, so I decided to walk to the next tube station. I am glad I did. Here is what I saw along the way:

Walking over Waterloo Bridge

What a beautiful day for a line suspension!

I especially liked seeing The Queen Mary.
